Drama Joy is committed to curating curricula that ‘lights up’ learning using active and experiential pedagogies.
Our work promotes physical, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual engagement to support cognition, academic outcomes and most importantly the development of courageous, engaged and inspired learners.
Our ‘light up’ practices apply drama and story-telling conventions along with learning-science research to support learning through embodiment and experience, developing knowledge and skills to promote creative behaviours and imaginative outcomes.
Central to our mission is the promotion and cultivation of Joy, a core human experience and value. It is our aim that all children will experience a deep delight in learning adventures that can be remembered and celebrated and built upon.
