Why Drama Joy?
The Benefits of Drama.
Drama provides a safe environment for children to learn about themselves and others through storytelling and story making. Drama and storytelling are important for learning because they create an engaging and memorable way for the brain to process and retain information.
Stories can convey complex ideas and concepts in a way that is relatable and significant to a child’s lived experience.
They allow learners to connect emotionally with the material, which can help to increase their motivation and engagement. Drama and stories also help to create a context for learning, making it easier for children to remember the information, make connections to other learning experiences and apply it in real-life situations.
